Adobe Photoshop Beginners class (Level 1) is a four-part series beginner’s course designed to teach those students with limited background in design software. This Photoshop training course will help you understand how to get started growing your essential job skills within Photoshop, as well as some of the other tools and best practices you need to succeed.
Adobe Photoshop for Beginners will teach you the fundamentals that are important to any Photoshop project from marketing to graphic design. We have designed this class to cover the fundamentals so that you can learn the skills you need and immediately be able to apply to your own design workflow. This class includes a mix of structured activities, as well as project-based assignments.
As you work through the sessions of Adobe Photoshop for Beginners, each class will be a hands-on and intensive workshop, designed to help make difficult topics easier to understand. Your instructor, an Adobe Certified Expert, will work with you closely to make sure that you avoid common mistakes in Photoshop and apply best practices when possible.

- Explore and customize the Adobe Photoshop work area
- Understand Image Resolution and image types
- Work with selections
- Work with layers and layer effects
- Use basic photo corrections

Prerequisites
- Basic digital literacy including file management is required.
- Introduction to Design Fundamentals is recommended, but not required.
