In Design Fundamentals Beginners classes, you will be introduced to an orientation to digital design with emphasis on basic principles of digital design using computer graphics tools. Having the vernacular, knowledge and skill to execute a creative vision is critical to a project’s success especially for roles ranging from project managers to production designers.
Design Fundamentals Beginners is an essential soft skills class to add to your resume for any design related career. While many of our other classes at DWC teach technical skills of design programs, this design training is focused on best practices and principles to ensure that you understand how to answer the most important question of all: “what is good design?“.
Through hands-on assignments and interactive content, your instructor will help you improve your design vocabulary. Being able to communicate with a design team will be an invaluable skill as you expand your career. Working in small groups, you will have the support and mentorship of your instructor to guide you every step of the way through this entertaining class.
Design Fundamentals Beginners classes are hands-on and intensive. We have designed the class to make difficult topics easier to understand. Your instructor, a design professional, will work with you closely to make sure that you avoid common mistakes in Design Fundamentals and apply best practices when possible.

Objectives
Upon successful completion of the Design Fundamentals Beginners training, students will be able to:
